vincentians, (Congregation of the Mission) are an international community of Priests and Brothers in the Catholic Church. They were founded in France in 1625 by Vincent de Paul to give missons in rural areas, and to support the diocesan clergy, especially in their education and formation. In Australia and Fiji Vincdentian Priests and Brothers work in the areas of secondary and tertiary education, spirituality, chaplaincies, formation of clergy, retreats, and parishes. They are also involved in ministry to people with HIV/AIDS.
