However, in light of the modern-day Orthodox ecclesiastical crisis resulting often in political and canonical divisions of mutual rejection, our aim is towards traditional Orthodox unity from a true canonical, spiritual and theological point of view. The idea of an agreement of ecclesiastical relations between Orthodox jurisdictions of the same stand is very edifying and most Christ-like. It is for this reason that we have established this Holy Synod many years ago.
