The Shuck Memorial Baptist Church was named in honor of Jehu Lewis Shuck, a Lewisburg native who became an early Baptist missionary to China. West Point Baptist Church was founded in asbury in 1858 on the West Point of a ridge. It was later moved to its present location, but it continued to keep the name of West Point. |
